PAMCANI Wins Excellence Award

Downers Grove, Ill.; April 24, 2008 – The Business Ledger, the business newspaper for suburban Chicago, presented its 2008 Annual Award for Business Excellence in the trade association/professional society category to the Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Authority of Northern Illinois (PAMCANI). “We are indeed honored to be so recognized,” said S.J. Peters, executive director of PAMCANI.

The awards are based on organizational growth, on how the management team has contributed to this growth and to developing the potential of its staff, on features of the services the organization provides to its industry that are unique, on honors and other recognition that the organization has earned, and on how the organization has reinvested in its community. Some 24 exhibits were submitted, Peters said, that document PAMCANI’s community services support, technical and management education programs, career development outreach and consumer education initiatives.
