Downers Grove, Ill. — April 13, 2007 — Sixteen members of
the PAMCANI Alliance, the association of plumbing and mechanical
contractors of Northern Illinois, have earned the PAMCANI
annual Commitment
To A Safe Workplace Award for 2006. The award recognizes improvements
in safety made by the contractors over the last three years
in at least four out of six categories, such as lost workdays
and workers’ compensation resolutions.

The following contractors were presented with their Commitment to a Safe
Workplace trophy at the March 15th PAMCANI lunch meeting at Shaw’s Crab

PAMCANI (The Plumbing & Mechanical Contractors Authority of Northern Illinois) is comprised of over 400 union contractors and sustaining members who provide and maintain plumbing, heating and cooling systems for institutional, commercial, business and residential applications. Led by the PAMCANI Alliance (the contractors’ association), this non–profit trade organization invests over $3 million annually in the promotion, advancement, education and training of apprentices, journeymen and contractors, and actively works to raise awareness about water and energy conservation.
