Downers Grove, Ill.; April 2, 2007 – Shoppers can support the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Illinois at no cost through the Jewel-Osco Shop & Share Program to be sponsored April 23, 24 and 25 by PAMCANI, the Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Authority of Northern Illinois. When the appropriate coupon is presented at any Jewel-Osco checkout register, the Program contributes 5% of the sale amount (excluding taxes) to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help it grant wishes to children between the ages of 2-½ and 18 with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
The coupons can be used at any Jewel, Jewel-Osco or Osco store. They can be used multiple times on any or all of the designated days. Coupons can be obtained from PAMCANI by telephoning (630) 960-3970.
PAMCANI is comprised of over 400 union contractors and sustaining members who provide and maintain plumbing, heating and cooling systems for institutional, commercial, business and residential applications. Led by the PAMCANI Alliance (the contractors’ association), this non-profit trade organization invests over $3 million annually in the promotion, advancement, education and training of apprentices, journeymen and contractors, and actively works to raise awareness about water and energy conservation.
