Downers Grove, Ill.; March 10, 2006 - Kevin Ryan (center), a resident
of Hinckley, won a $1,000 safety incentive award sponsored by the Plumbing and
Mechanical Contractors Authority of Northern Illinois for his accident-free
work record in 2005. He is employed by Lang Mechanical, Aurora, and is assigned
to the Caterpillar plant in Montgomery. He was presented the award by Georgiana
Kipp, executive director, (left) and S.J. Peters, executive director designate,
(right) of PAMCANI.
Ryan was selected for the award from
among 5,340 PAMCANI member employees who were accident free for at least
one quarter during 2005.
PAMCANI, headquartered in Downers
Grove, represents 370 union contractors in DuPage, DeKalb, Kane, Kendall, Lake
and McHenry Counties as well as sustaining members who provide and maintain
plumbing, heating and cooling systems for institutional, commercial, business
