These new and improved referral websites
are now up and running. Consumers will no longer search for service contractors
by going to a list of local towns. They will now simply put in their zip code
and, depending on the parameters chosen, will view a list of contractors in the
area who do service work - plumbing and/or HVAC. Please take a few minutes to
check your company listings. If there is something which is incorrect please
contact Debbie either by e-mailing her or giving her a call at
630-960-3970.
If you are not listed on the website it means that the
office never received a response to more than one mailing asking if you wanted
your company to be listed on the webpage and for specifics about the type of
work your company performs.
Starting in early November a series of
commercials will be run on cable TV (HGTV, TLC, TNT, The Weather Channel)
recommending these websites as THE place to go to find a reputable contractor.
The "target" geographical zones include: Aurora-Naperville; Barrington;
Bloomingdale; Crystal Lake; Elgin; Gurnee; Highland Park; Libertyville; Oak
Brook; St. Charles-Wheaton; DeKalb; McHenry and Schaumburg.
