Web Site Wins Fourth Consecutive APEX Award
Downers Grove, Ill.;
Oct. 25, 2004 – For the fourth year in a row, the APEX Award for
Publication Excellence was won by PAMCANI, the Plumbing and Mechanical
Contractors Association of Northern Illinois, for its web site www.pamcani.org, according to Georgiana Kipp, PAMCANI executive
director. The award cites the web site for "achieving overall communications
effectiveness and excellence."
The APEX Awards (Awards for
Publications Excellence Competition) have been sponsored annually for 16 years
by the editors of Writing That Works, a nationally circulated newsletter
published by Communications Concepts, Inc. The awards recognize achievement by
writers, editors and publications staff. They are based on content, usability
and overall communications excellence in corporate, nonprofit and independent
settings.
PAMCANI represents 175 union contractors and sustaining
members who provide and maintain plumbing, heating and cooling systems for
institutional, commercial, business and residential applications. It invests
more than $3,000,000 annually for education and training of apprentices and
journeymen.
