Annual February Food Drive To Benefit the Northern Illinois Food Bank

FoodWe're counting on PAMCANI contractors, their staff, suppliers, and customers; Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 501 members and their families and friends; and supporters in our communities to donate food (or if you prefer, monetary contributions) to help the Northern Illinois Food Bank in our six county area (DuPage, DeKalb, Kane, Kendall, Lake & McHenry). We're putting our work toward a great cause!

How can you make a difference through our "February Food Drive" pipeline?
Donate canned food (or non-perishable food items— cereal, peanut butter, etc)
Support our drive by giving money (the NIFB can provide 9 lbs of food for $1.00!)
Spread the word: Tell friends, family, co-workers and neighbors about our drive!

Why February?
Holiday food drives are over, yet the need stays as high as ever!

Why is canned food best?
It's packed with calories; easy to store and move; lots of varieties; can be checked fast for expiration dates; and it has a long "shelf life."

Why is money (checks cash or supermarket gift card) a good option?
Because a little money can buy a surprisingly large amount of food, thanks to the reach and contacts of the Northern Illinois Food Bank. $1.00 provides up to 9 pounds of food!
